Kameruni klasic (3A)

AD, M1, 600M, 5A (3A - RUS)

The Cameroon classic route is one of the interesting and different routes in the Chauk massif. The route will be interesting for beginners and middle level climbers

Route

P0 - The route starts at the beginning of Asatiani - Camerooni couloir. We go up to the saddle with a long couloir (The average time of passing the couloir is 2-3 hours.) We start climbing on the left wall of the couloir.

P1 - We start to climb the wall, gradually move to the left side. after 10m we find a old piton, from here we continue to the left again and enter the stone ridge where we find a anchor built on palos.

P2 - We continue to climb up and pass the ridge. We cross to the left and at the highest point of the ridge we find a station built on a rock.

TOP - We climb down from the anchor 8-9 meters down and find ourselves on the right platform (shelf). From here, we continue walking towards the peak. We pass the peak from the right side and climb to the top of the narrow flat surface (there is a tour at the top)
