The region features plenty of hotels, hostels, and guesthouses, making it easy to find accommodation in any price category.
How to get there
The climbing sector is located 10 kilometers from Mestia and can be easily reached by car or by taxi from the city center.
To get to the climbing sector from Mestia, head towards the Chalaadi Glacier. The motor road leads all the way to the crags; however, the final few kilometers are unpaved (dirt road), so a high-clearance 4x4 vehicle is recommended.
The climbing sector is situated right at the beginning of the Chalaadi Glacier hiking trail, with parking available on-site.
Best time to visit
The best period for climbing is from late spring to mid-autumn. During the winter season, climbing on natural rock is virtually impossible due to freezing temperatures and heavy precipitation.
